Overview

The purpose of the district board is to acquire (construct, purchase, or lease), operate, and maintain water rights, waterworks, sanitary sewer-works, storm sewer-works, canals, conduits, reservoirs, lands, and rights useful or necessary to store, conserve, supply, produce, convey, or drain water or sewage for purposes beneficial to the district. Including flood prevention and control, irrigation, drainage, municipal, industrial, and domestic water supplies, pollution abatement, recreation and wildlife and livestock water supply.
