The Finance Office oversees the accounting and financial activities of the county.  While the commissioners are ultimately responsible for the financial condition of the county, it is the responsibility of the finance officer to keep the county’s “books” in balance. This is completed by reviewing the financial activities and, subsequently, preparing and presenting financial reports.

Finance assists with the planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating of activities to includes

  • Monitoring

The Finance Department provides information and assistance to all County Departments, Elected Officials, and the general public.
