ROSEBUD FIRE UPDATE: Fire Crews made some gains today. Containment is estimated at about 30% and still holding at 1,044 acres. (Updated 4:15 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021)

ROSEBUD FIRE UPDATE: Information from fire command is that the fire is approximately 1,044 acres and 15% containment, as of this afternoon. They have had 2 helicopters, 1 helitack crew, 2 dozers and 16 engines with crews from surrounding area agencies, BLM, and DNRC working the fire today (Updated 8:45 am on Thursday, November 18, 2021)

ROSEBUD FIRE UPDATE: With the winds dying down and the cooler temperatures last night the fire has not increased in size. The estimate this morning is 1,200-1,500 acres. It is still at 0% containment. We will have air support today, without the high winds. Evacuations are still in effect. We will post updates as soon as we get further information. ROSEBUD FIRE UPDATE: The fire is still at 0% containment. The estimated acreage is somewhere between 3 and 5,000 acres. The initial evacuation order is still in effect from the intersection of Fiddler Creek Rd and West Rosebud Rd. to South Fiddler Creek Rd including Ingersoll to Roscoe. Approximately 35 evacuation notices were sent out, as well as deputies going door to door last night. The fire is burning in mostly timber with rough terrain. Agencies on scene include Absarokee, Columbus, Red Lodge, Nye, Laurel, and Shepard Fire Departments, BLM, DNRC, and Forest Service. It rained this morning which really helped out, but as the day progresses we are seeing increased fire activity due to the wind. (Updated 1:45 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2021)

ROSEBUD FIRE– Fire reported in West Rosebud area. Fire currently stands at 2500 acres. Evacuations are in effect from the intersection of Fiddler Creek Rd including Ingersoll to Roscoe.
