Stillwater County Community Clean-Up Day

Help keep our community clean and healthy! Join Stillwater County in a Community Clean Up! Friday, June 10th, 2022 from 8:30am- 4:30pm, Stillwater County will be cleaning up fishing accesses along the Yellowstone and Stillwater Rivers and the West Rosebud, Emerald and Mystic Lakes. Public Hearing

The Stillwater County Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Stillwater County West Annex, located at 431 Quarry Road, in Columbus to receive comments and input concerning the adoption of updates and revisions to the Stillwater County Subdivision Regulations.

The proposed Regulations and redline proposed changes can be viewed at the Stillwater County Planning Office located at 431 Quarry Road, in Columbus, and online at https://www.stillwatercountymt.gov/new-business/. Request for Proposals for On-Call Planning Services

Stillwater County is requesting professional on-call planning service proposals from a qualified firm or team of consultants to augment professional county planning services for the Stillwater County Planning Department. Questions regarding RFP requirements must be received via email by May 24th, 3:00 p.m., 2022. Late questions will not receive responses. Questions can be submitted to Stephanie Ray, Community Development Director at sray@stillwatercountymt.gov. Proposals containing the information required by this RFP, must be received no later than May 27th, 2022, 3:00 p.m. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “RFP On-Call Planning Services“. An audit of the affairs of STILLWATER COUNTY, Montana, has been conducted by OLNESS & ASSOCIATES, PC. CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS. The audit covered the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. Section 2-7-521, MCA, requires the publication of the following summary of significant findings.

Myers Creek Road Closure

As of June 10, 2021, Myers Creek Road from the Ranger Station to the end has been closed. The road is unpassable and not safe for public travel. The County will be working towards a repair that can make the road safe at least for ATV travel.
