Weed District Capital Project

The Stillwater County Weed Board will be voting on the approval of claim #84909A for the amount of $92,027.00 regarding the Weed District’s recent capital improvement building project.
Voting will begin January 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm and will close on January 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm. The approval for this claim will be made via an email vote.
Public Comment Note: Meetings of the Stillwater Weed Management District are open to the public. Issues and public matters not on the agenda may be delayed until the next regular meeting for public comment pursuant to MCA 2-3-103.

An audit of the affairs of STILLWATER COUNTY, Montana, has been conducted by OLNESS & ASSOCIATES, PC. CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS. The audit covered the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. Section 2-7-521, MCA, requires the publication of the following summary of significant findings.

Multiple Board & Committee Vacancies

Myers Creek Road Closure

As of June 10, 2021, Myers Creek Road from the Ranger Station to the end has been closed. The road is unpassable and not safe for public travel. The County will be working towards a repair that can make the road safe at least for ATV travel.
