NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING PROPOSED GUIDELINES FOR PART I CITIZEN INITIATED ZONING DISTRICTS
The Stillwater County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 6, at 9:30 am, in the First Floor Conference Room at the Stillwater County Courthouse, located at 400 E. 3rd Ave. N, Columbus, Montana, to receive public input concerning the adoption of proposed guidelines for Part I Citizen Initiated Zoning Districts.
The draft guidelines are available for public review at the Office of the County Commission and the Stillwater County Clerk & Recorder Office, located at 400 E. 3rd Ave. N, Columbus, MT, and the Stillwater County Planning Office, located in the Stillwater County West Annex, 431 Quarry Road, Columbus, MT. The draft guidelines are also available on the Stillwater County website (stillwatercountymt.gov). All written comments will be accepted at or before the public hearing and addressed to the County Commissioners at P.O. Box 970, Columbus, MT 59019.

STILLWATER COUNTY PLANNING BOARD VACANCIES
The Stillwater County Commissioners are now accepting applications for one (1) positions on the County Planning Board. This board comprises citizen representation, county wide. The citizen members of the County Planning Board shall be resident freeholders in the area over which the County Planning Board has jurisdiction. Members serve a 2-year term. The Planning Board reviews proposed subdivisions and study other planning issues. Members meet the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and occasionally attend public hearings. Applications can be downloaded at stillwatercountymt.gov or call 322-8010. NOTICE OF SOLID WASTE CHANGE
As of February 1, 2018, Stillwater Solid Waste Department will no longer allow individuals to charge at the solid waste collection sites.
Businesses who have established accounts and are current will be allowed to continue to charge for items deposited at the collection sites.
