The Stillwater County Commissioners will consider action related to the citizen initiated zoning petition received from the Stillwater County Beartooth Front District.   Furthermore the Commission’s action will determine whether the county will proceed with Part I or Part II zoning. The Stillwater County Commissioners are now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Beartooth Park and Recreation District Board.   Two  positions are available for three-year terms. A park commissioner has all powers necessary for the betterment, operation, maintenance and administration of park and recreation land within the territory of the district. Applicants must be a registered voter in Stillwater County and reside within the  park district which follows the boundary of High School District 52.  The Stillwater County Commissioners are now accepting applications for the County Planning Board. This board comprises citizen representation, county wide. The citizen members of the County Planning Board shall be resident freeholders in the area over which the County Planning Board has jurisdiction. Members serve a 2-year term. The Planning Board reviews proposed subdivisions and study other planning issues. Members meet the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and occasionally attend public hearings.
