COMPENSATION BOARD MEETINGS

§7-4-2503, MCA

Stillwater County is required to have a Compensation Board which meets each year to determine the salaries of Elected Officials for the ensuing year.  For that board, an organizational meeting will be held on Monday, April 13, 2020, at 4:00 P.M., and a regular board meeting will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020, at 4:00 PM.   Both meetings will be held in the Commissioners’ Chambers on the second floor of the Courthouse, located at 400 3rd Ave. North, Columbus.   The meetings will be held to organize the Compensation Board and to discuss: the process; the board’s responsibilities; time lines; pertinent information on which to base recommendations; and develop recommendations to be submitted to the Commissioners.  All interested persons are invited to attend. NOTICE TO FILE FOR PRIMARY ELECTION

HELD ON JUNE 2, 2020 

Notice is hereby given that the filing period for a person seeking to become a candidate for the upcoming Primary Election to be held on June 2, 2020 is January 9, 2020 through March 9, 2020 at 5:00 pm.

The County positions that are up for election are Clerk of District Court, and County Commissioner District #1.

Forms and information packets may be obtained through the Clerk and Recorders office in the courthouse at 400 E 3rd Avenue North, Columbus, or by calling 322-8000 to have the information sent to you.
